We think of our body, as if it was obvious that it exists and functions. We start caring about it, only when it shows problems. We do not think, that it should be exercised as well. Acknowledging the physical Well-being support us to avoid typical stress related illnesses, like high blood pressure, diabetes or cardiovascular problems. With prevention, we can do a lot for our elderly Well-being.

It is important for us to feel energized and we focus on being physically healthy and fit.

Emotional well-being

Resilience is one of the most important parts of Well-being. If I am like a „wobble man” from our childhood game, I can stand up from any situation. But to do so, I need to know my values, what is important in my life is for me, as these are my compasses. A lot of researches proved that optimistic approach, adaptive thinking, the ability for gratefulness and flexibility supports the achievement of these objectives.

I need to be able to adapt to changes and stressful situations in a positive way emotionally, in attitude and in worldview.

Mental health

When we feel young and competent, we feel sorry for those, who are not able to solve the easiest logical or mathematical exercises or not able to reach their defined objectives. We do not think of the option that we could get into such situation and could do to avoid this problem to occur to us.

We must desire to stay fresh mentally, to formulate and achieve our goals so that we know what we are good at and what we need to develop to do so.

Social well-being

There has been an on-going research since 1942 at the Harvard University about what factors play role in human happiness. There is one universal rule visible, which shows that those people are the happiest ones, who has close human relationships. Researches also show that people contributing to protecting the environment and to the development of their close neighbourhood are happier.

We need to be open to the world around us and take responsibility for it. We must care about our close environment, how much we support and feel supported.

It is possible to train these „muscles” and strengthen them, so you can work on improving your quality of life individually, with friends, family and in the society.
